While we don’t know whether this phone will be water resistant or have any other whistles and bells, we definitely know that it will have a fingerprint scanner and face recognition device on the side. On top of that, the new device will have a fierce competition as Moto Razr seems to be quite an interesting phone.
Both companies seemingly prefer form over function. The specs released for Moto Razr are rather unimpressive. The only truly interesting thing about it is that it folds and has a really stylish look with its sharp edges and black finish. However, with a price tag of $1500 it won’t be a massive sale.
Galaxy Z Flip seems to be a little bit more performance-oriented yet won’t even compare to its flagships in terms of computational power. While Razr is packing a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 under its closure and has 6GB of RAM, the Galaxy Z is rumored to beat these numbers. The biggest difference will be in battery capacity as Samsung promises to put a nice 3300mAh battery inside the device.
We will have to wait for additional information about both phones to make a comparison that is meaningful enough to warrant our increased expectations.
